چکیده

We study a quantum system composed of three interacting qubits, each coupled to different thermal reservoir. show how engineer it build device analogous an electronic bipolar transistor. outline the interaction among qubits plays crucial role for appearance effect, also linking characteristics system-bath interactions that govern decoherence and dissipation mechanisms system. By comparison with previous proposals, our model extends regime parameters where transistor effect occurs, being more robust respect small variations coupling parameters. Moreover, appears be realistic directly connected in terms potential implementations feasible setups domain spin chains, such as molecular nanomagnets.

The quantum interference effect transistor.

We give a detailed discussion of the quantum interference effect transistor (QuIET), a proposed device which exploits the interference between electron paths through aromatic molecules to modulate the current flow. In the off state, perfect destructive interference stemming from the molecular symmetry blocks the current, while in the on state, the current is allowed to flow by locally introduci...

Analysis of Kirk Effect in Nanoscale Quantum Well Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor Laser

In this paper, we present an analytical model to analysis the kirk effect onstatic and dynamic responses of quantum well heterojunction bipolar transistor lasers(HBTLs). Our analysis is based on solving the kirk current equation, continuityequation and rate equations of HBTL. We compare the performance (current gain, output photon number and small signal modulation bandwi...

Wiedemann-Franz relation and thermal-transistor effect in suspended graphene.

We extract experimentally the electronic thermal conductivity, Ke, in suspended graphene that we dope using a back-gate electrode. We make use of two-point dc electron transport at low bias voltages and intermediate temperatures (50-160 K), where the electron and lattice temperatures are decoupled. The thermal conductivity is proportional to the charge conductivity times the temperature, confir...

Near-field thermal transistor.

Using a block of three separated solid elements, a thermal source and drain together with a gate made of an insulator-metal transition material exchanging near-field thermal radiation, we introduce a nanoscale analog of a field-effect transistor that is able to control the flow of heat exchanged by evanescent thermal photons between two bodies. By changing the gate temperature around its critic...
